Fields of Application

Movitec VE are employed for general water supply, sprinkling, irrigation
and pressure boosting duties, for warm water and cooling
water recirculation. They are installed in domestic water supply systems,
washing plants, water treatment and fire-fighting systems.
Movitec V(S) and LHS are employed for general water supply,
sprinkling, irrigation and pressure boosting duties, for warm water,
hot water and cooling water recirculation, and condensate transport.
They are installed in boiler feed circuits, domestic water supply
systems, washing plants, water treatment and filter systems.
They are used for degreaser baths/alkaline cleaning baths, alkalines
and oils/emulsions, as well as for fire-fighting, reverse osmosis

Bearings

All V, VS and LHS pumps are supplied with tungsten carbide plain
bearing at the hydraulic rotor.
Movitec VE is supplied without bearing at the hydraulic rotor.
Shaft Seal

Single-acting, uncooled mechanical seal in accordance with
EN 12756.
Drive

Electric motor, 50 Hz, air-cooled, 2- and 4-pole, standard KSB
motor with main dimensions to IEC. Other motor makes subject to
prior consultation with KSB.
Movitec V, VS, LHS with PTC resistors for 3 kW and above.
Variants: single-phase a.c. motor, frequency-controlled drives,
60 Hz (see Type Series Booklet 1798.56-10).
